# Close Stack

When a Stack is closed:

* The final price is recorded
* Stack P\&L is locked and finalized
* New buys are disabled
* Existing holders can still sell at their discretion and convenience.

To close a Stack, select one of your Stacks, click **Edit**, then choose **Close**.<br>

Closing a Stack provides a clear end state for performance tracking while allowing holders to exit positions transparently.
